Your Active Transaction Balance (ATB) is the total amount of payouts issued before the event has taken place. This balance affects how and when your payouts are processed.
Your ATB includes payouts for events that:
Have not yet started (future events)
Are currently in progress (e.g., multi-day festivals)
Ended less than 3 business days ago
How Payouts Work
If your Active Transaction Balance isbelowyourActive Transaction Credit Limit (ATCL): Funds are released to your PayPal account within 3-5 business days after the buyer has marked tickets as Received on CashorTrade
If your Active Transaction Balance exceedsyour ATCL: Further payouts (including the one that pushed your balance over the limit) will be delayed until 3-5 business days after the event has ended.
Payouts are recalculated daily and are issued as soon as possible under these terms
Over time, accounts with a positive history can request an increase in their ATCL
Example:
Josh’s ATCL is $500
On June 1st, Josh sells 2 tickets at $100 each ($200 total) for an event on July 1st
Buyer marks as received → Josh gets paid within 3-5 business days
Josh's ATB = $200 → Remaining ATCL = $300
On June 10th, Josh sells another ticket for $400 for an event on July 15th
Buyer marks as received → ATB becomes $600, which exceeds their ATCL of $500
This payout will be held until the balance is under their $500 limit
On July 4th, three business days after the July 1st event ends, the first $200 sale is marked Completed.
Josh's ATB drops to $400 → $400 payout is released within 3-5 business days
On July 18th, three days after the July 15 event ends, Josh's ATB resets to $0
Josh’s full $500 credit is restored for payouts prior to an event
