Create a Listing to Sell Tickets

Selling tickets on CashorTrade is easy and secure, being the only resale platform where selling is completely FREE to the seller! 

You may ONLY sell tickets you have purchased and for which you have a valid purchase receipt.

**NEVER list tickets for sale on multiple platforms to avoid overselling.

Follow the steps below to create a listing and connect with a buyer!
 

Create a listing to sell your tickets:

1. Click “Post Tickets” or "Sell" on the CashorTrade home page, or "+ Add Listing" within your Ticket Wallet > My Listings

   • Select “Sell My Tickets” if you would like to list your tickets for sale

2. Search the artist, team, event, or festival name

3. Select the event date for the tickets that you have

4. Select Delivery Method: This is how the tickets will be transferred to the buyer

   • Digital Transfer

   • Barcode Image or PDF

   • Send By Mail

   • In Person Transfer/Will Call

5. Enter the number of tickets that you are listing for sale

6. Are you ready to transfer?

   • Select "I'm Ready" if the tickets can be transferred now

   • Select "Not Ready" if the tickets are in your possession but cannot be transferred yet

7. Select the Primary Ticket Company under "Where was the original purchase?"

   • Ticketmaster

   • AXS

   • See Tickets

   • etc.

8. Enter your Ticket Information

   • Reserved Seating: Enter the exact Section, Row, and Seat Numbers for the tickets you are listing for sale

   • General Admission: Select the appropriate GA section for your tickets

     • Floor

     • Lawn

     • Stands

     • etc

9. Select "Willing to Split" if you are selling multiple tickets and you are willing to sell to multiple buyers

   • ex. You are selling 2 tickets, but you are willing to sell 1 ticket to two different buyers

10. To ensure a fully accurate listing, select "+ Add feature" to add any optional features or disclosures if they are listed on your ticket(s)

    • Aisle Seat

    • Wheelchair Seat

    • VIP Tickets

    • etc.

11. Enter the face value price per ticket (USD).

    • If you would like to give your tickets away for free (aka Miracle them), toggle "Give these tickets away for free?"

    • If your tickets are official Platinum/Premium tickets, toggle "These are official Platinum/Premium tickets

      • NOTE: The ticket will say Platinum or Premium on it if it was purchased as a Platinum or Premium ticket from the primary ticket seller

12. Select if the price is Face Value or Below Face Value.

13. Enter payment & payout information

    • Add or select your credit/debit card (for verification).

    • Add a PayPal account: this is where your payout will be sent after tickets are sold

14. Add a message to your ticket listing (optional)

    • Adding a description is strongly encouraged to help share information with potential buyers and can really help your listing stand out

15. Add up to 5 images to your ticket listing (optional)

    • Add an image of your receipt so buyers can confirm the face value price

    • Add an image of the seating chart

    • It is required to upload an image of your receipt when listing Platinum/Premium tickets for sale

    • *Important Note: Cover any barcode or order numbers on any images you upload.

16. Select who you want to see the listing

    • Selecting "Specific People/Person" will allow you to enter a buyer's username to send the listing directly to them. ONLY this user will be able to place a request on your listing

17. Click "Review Listing"

    • Be sure that all information in your listing matches the tickets you have for sale EXACTLY

    • Note: If any information in the listing is not accurate, the buyer will be entitled to a full refund if their request is accepted

18. Click "Post Tickets" to make your listing live on the site, and you will be ready to receive buyer requests!
