Understanding Fees on CashorTrade

CashorTrade is committed to transparency. Below is a breakdown of the fees applied to buyers and sellers when using our platform.

Buyer Fees:

• 3%-5% Credit/Debit Card Fee: Applied to all purchases to cover payment processing, depending on the card issuer (Users based outside of the US may be subject to additional card processing fees)

• 10% Platform Fee: Applied to non-Gold Members on all purchases

• 5% fee: For high-value purchases over $2,500 or select partnered events, a 5% platform fee is applied (capped at $250) for Gold Members. 

• Gold Member Discount: Gold Members pay only the 3% credit card processing fee for all purchases and no 10% platform fees

• Canceled Event: Fees are non-refundable

• Chargeback Fee: $25 fee if a chargeback is issued per our Terms of Use (Section 7D)

Becoming a Gold Member saves you money and provides early access to listings. Most Gold Members cover their membership cost after just a few purchases.

Seller Fees:

• Dropped Sale Fee: Up to 150% of the listing price if the seller fails to deliver valid tickets as described in their listing

• International PayPal Fee: May apply if the seller’s PayPal is receiving payment from a buyer outside the U.S. (assessed by PayPal directly)

• Listing Fee: Free! There is no cost to list or sell tickets!

Avoid fees by:

• Delivering tickets exactly as described in your listing

• Double-checking ticket details before accepting a request

• Being responsive and available on the day of the event

• Staying true to your commitment and completing a sale as agreed upon

• Ensuring the tickets are delivered on the selected transfer date

• Reaching out to Fan Support if you need any assistance 

   

Chargebacks:

Before contacting your bank, we strongly encourage you to reach out to our Fan Support Team to report any issues. In most cases, we can resolve issues promptly and efficiently, without the need for additional fees or formal disputes.

Please note that by completing your purchase, you agree to our Terms of Use, which explicitly authorizes CashorTrade to recover any fees associated with chargebacks.

Initiating a chargeback will result in additional fees and your account may be permanently removed. Because you did agree to these terms, CashorTrade will provide your bank or card issuer with all necessary documentation, and your dispute will be overturned.
