If a seller cannot deliver the tickets exactly as described in their listing after accepting a buyer’s request, it is considered a Dropped Sale, and the buyer is entitled to a full refund.
What happens in a Dropped Sale?
If a seller drops a sale, they authorize CashorTrade to charge their card on file a fee of up to 150% of the sale amount to help resolve the issue for the buyer, as outlined in our Terms of Use (Section 8).
How to Avoid a Dropped Sale
Double-check your ticketsBEFORE accepting a buyer's request
Ensure the tickets are still in your possession and have not previously been sold on another platform
Ensure the tickets match the information in your listing EXACTLY
Section, row, delivery date, etc.
Some tickets may be on a transfer delay. If your tickets cannot be transferred yet, please select "Not Ready" for the transfer date when creating your listing
If you’ve already accepted a request and discover you can’t deliver the original tickets:
Ask the buyer if they would accept replacement tickets that match or exceed the value and location of the original tickets
If the buyer does not receive the exact tickets as advertised in a seller's listing, the buyer is entitled to a full refund, and the seller will be charged a fee of up to 150% of the ticket cost.
