There are four types of fees CashorTrade issues for users of the site:
Buyers
3% credit/debit card processing fee for all Buyers
10% service fee for non-Gold Member Buyers on all sales
$25 fee for any chargeback issued
The best way to score face-value tickets at the lowest cost possible is to become a Gold Member. A Gold membership applies a 10% platform fee waiver, so most ticket purchases will only have the 3% credit/debit card processing fee, which is the cost to process and credit/debit card payment. The membership pays for itself after a few sales depending on the cost of the tickets purchased. Sales over $2500 and certain partnered events would still require a 5% platform fee (maxing out at $250) in addition to the 3% credit/debit card processing fee in order to protect the transaction under our Trader's Protection Guarantee.
To avoid a chargeback fee, please reach out to our Fan Support Team before going directly to the bank. CashorTrade can often resolve the situation, correct the issue with the tickets, or process a refund much quicker than a bank can provide a credit. Every time a buyer issues the chargeback, a $25 fee is assessed automatically by the bank, which the buyer is responsible for, per our Terms of Use (section 7D). If you need a refund, please start a chat or open a support ticket with our Fan Support Team immediately so we can help you resolve your issue.
Sellers
Up to a 150% Dropped Sale fee will be assessed to sellers who fail to deliver tickets as described in their listing, the ticket delivered doesn't match the ticket listed, or the delivered tickets fail to work for entry. All sales are final and by a seller accepting a request, they are entering into a contract to deliver the tickets exactly how their listing explains.
PayPal may require an international exchange fee if the recipients PayPal account is NOT based out of the USA. This fee varies and is assessed directly by PayPal, which could affect the payout.
There is no fee to sell on CashorTrade, unless there is an issue with the tickets that are sold on the site. The best way to avoid this fee is to ALWAYS post valid tickets you are in possession of, double-check the tickets before accepting a request, confirm all barcodes to avoid sending duplicates, and be available the day of the show in case any issues come up when your buyer is attempting to gain entry.
