If you are not receiving push notifications from the CashorTrade app, review the following to troubleshoot common issues:
Network Issues
No Internet: Your device must be online to receive notifications. If it is turned off, in airplane mode, or has a weak/unstable internet connection, notifications may be delayed until a proper connection is restored
Wi-Fi: Ensure your network connection is stable. Try switching from Wi-Fi to your cellular network or vice versa.
Firewalls, & VPNs: Disable any VPN while using CashorTrade, as it may interfere with notifications
App Notification Permissions
iOS Device: Go to Settings > Notifications > CashorTrade App and ensure notifications are enabled
Android Device: Go to Settings > Notifications > App Notifications > CashorTrade App and ensure notifications are enabled
Low Power & Energy Saving Mode
Notifications may be delayed or blocked if battery optimization features are active.
iOS Users:
Turn off Low Power Mode: Go to Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode
Android Users:
Disable Power Saving Mode or Limit Apps and Home Screen
Disable Adaptive Power Saving Mode, which turns on Power Saving automatically
Check Battery Optimization or Background Usage Limits and ensure CashorTrade is allowed to run in the background
Do Not Disturb Mode
If enabled, notifications will not appear on your screen but may still appear in the notification center
iOS Users: Disable via Settings > Do Not Disturb
Android Users: Disable via Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb, or search for “Do Not Disturb” in settings
