You will need to create your alerts again in the new app.
When you receive a new Alert or Notification from CashorTrade, you will see a pink number next to the Notification Bell Icon. When you receive a new message from another user, you will see your profile picture glow pink with a new message in your "Inbox".
Every time a member responds, commits, pays, delivers, receives, reviews, or a new listing is created that matches a created Alert, a notification is sent. Depending on your notification settings, you could receive emails and/or a push notifications directly to your phone. Push notifications are the quickest way to receive the message since it is all housed within our app/site and doesn't have to bounce off cell towers or be restricted by email limitations. Be sure your notifications are turned ON for the CashorTrade app within your phone settings. If you are using the website, be sure you allow notifications from beta.cashortrade.org
Managing Notification settings:
You can turn on or off notifications being sent through Email and/or Push Notifications through your "Account Settings" under "Notifications".
It's important to be responsive to messages related to your transaction; this will improve your reputation in the community. Also, if you request to buy tickets, you do want to be aware of when that request was accepted and when tickets are delivered, or if you are selling, you want to be aware of when a new request is submitted! Alerts are also sent through notifications, so if you have them turned OFF and set up an Alert, you will not be notified when this Alert comes through.
Ticket Alert Setup:
Search for the event you are interested in and toggle "Notify Me" on the event.
You can also create a Ticket Alert from scratch by going to your "Ticket Wallet" and select the "Ticket Alerts" tab, and choosing "Create Alert".
This will allow you to select the number of tickets you are interested in, seating selections (such as Reserved Seating or General Admission along with the various sections found within GA: aka PIT, Floor, Field, etc.), and various features and disclosures for the specific ticket you are interested in.
-
First select the Artist or Festival you are interested in.
-
Then, select the specific event.
-
You then have the option to select a specific quantity of tickets, Reserved Seating or General Admission, and specific Features and Disclosures. If you choose 'General Admission', you can choose from the various sections offered (including PIT, Floor, Field, VIP, etc.).
-
Once you have it dialed into what you are looking for, select 'Save Alert' and it will be added to your Ticket Alerts page!
To delete or edit a Ticket Alert, go to your "Ticket Wallet" and select the "Ticket Alerts" tab. Navigate to the event that you would like to remove or edit. You can change the criteria that will send an alert if a new listing is created that matches the criteria. You can also choose 'delete alert' to remove it entirely. Deleting the alert will remove it from your "Ticket Alerts" page entirely. You will no longer receive notifications each time a new listing is added for this event that matches the alert details.
You can also manage your Ticket Alerts from the home page of CashorTrade.
Please note: You can select more than one option and if a listing gets created that matches any of the criteria, you will be alerted!
CashorTrade will send Alerts and Notifications through Email and Push notification only.
