Ticket Dispute, Scan Issue, Ticket Already Used, or Invalid Ticket
Updated
It's very important that you follow these steps to provide proper evidence to support your claim that a ticket is not valid. If you do not provide proper evidence to confirm the ticket is invalid, CashorTrade cannot process a refund. Please DO NOT ignore the 5 steps below, buy another ticket, and then request a refund the next day.
If you have a digital ticket, turn the brightness up on your phone screen and try again.
Try a different scanner from a different venue staff person.
Visit the box office. Ask them to scan the ticket. If it doesn't work, ask the box office why and get a receipt or other written proof that the ticket was invalid. A video of the scan issue can also be evidence to support your case, which can be done from a friends phone if it is a mobile ticket.
Message your seller to let them know that the ticket failed to scan. The seller may be able to resolve the situation right then and there by contacting their point of purchase or the box office, or by providing a different ticket.
Contact our Fan Support Team through a support ticket right away, include the evidence you have gathered to confirm the issue being reported. Our team will get back to you as quickly as possible to help resolve the situation.
Please be sure to report validity issues immediately, and always reach out to the seller as they can likely help to get your ticket reissued.
Note: All ticket disputes need to be reported within 24 hours of the conclusion of an event to be eligible for Trader's Protection.
