For those physical tickets and festival wristbands, please follow the steps below to ensure a smooth and speedy delivery to your buyer.
Shipping Guidelines
Use a reliable carrier and ensure delivery is guaranteed for the agreed date/time
We always recommend mailing physical tickets using USPS Priority Express
DO NOT use FedEx or UPS, as these carriers do not insure the cost of tickets if anything goes wrong
If the event is less than 10 days away, we strongly encourage using an overnight shipping service
Do not require a signature unless the buyer specifically requests it
This often causes delays if the buyer is not home
Addcarrier insurance for the full ticket value in case the package is lost, damaged, or delayed.
If this happens, the buyer will be entitled to a full refund, and you’ll need insurance to recover the cost from the carrier
Before mailing, take a clear photo of each ticket barcode as well as a photo of the physical package to confirm it has not been tampered with in transit
Add the tracking number to the sale on CashorTrade
This serves as proof of delivery for you, the buyer, and CashorTrade
If the tickets are lost, damaged, tampered with in transit, or don't arrive in time for the event or the buyer’s travels:
Work with your buyer and contact the carrier immediately
If the event is approaching quickly, the seller may be able to arrange a will-call pickupat the venue box office
If so, contact the event box office or primary ticket company immediately to update the tickets to the buyer's name
This will invalidate the original tickets and create new ones that will be available under the buyer's name at Will Call
If the buyer is not on board with picking up the tickets at Will Call, since they committed to receiving tickets in the mail:
The buyer is entitled to a full refund, and the seller must file a claim through the shipping carrier’s insurance for compensation.
Adding Shipping Costs:
You can include shipping costs when creating your ticket listing
Simply add the shipping costs to the ticket price when creating your listing
Add in your listing description that the price includes shipping costs
Once a request is accepted, you cannot change the price or add shipping later
The buyer agrees to the listed total, so all costs must be included up front
Do not request additional payments outside the platform. Doing so may result in additional fees, account suspension, or removal
