We will notify the buyer and the seller if we learn of an event being canceled or postponed. If you find out an event is postponed or canceled before we notify you, please get in touch with our Fan Support Team by creating a support ticket to let us know!
Postponed Events:
All sales stand for a Postponed event, since valid tickets were delivered and the event will happen on the dates rescheduled.
All sales are final on CashorTrade. If refunds are offered by the primary ticketing company, do not request a refund as the original purchaser to avoid a dropped sale. Since all sales stand for a postponed event, seller's are required to provide valid tickets to the event they listed, even if the date is rescheduled.

If the buyer can no longer make the rescheduled dates, they are still responsible for the tickets. If the buyer can't use the tickets for the new date, feel free to make a new listing to find a new buyer for these tickets.
All sales are final on CashorTrade, so after the request has been accepted and the tickets have been transferred, the sale cannot be cancelled, even if the event has been postponed. The buyer fully committed to purchase the tickets and a refund is not available unless the event is canceled.

If the seller now wishes to use the tickets for the rescheduled dates, they will need to purchase other tickets (or buy back the tickets from the buyer). By selling the tickets to another user, the tickets are no longer the seller's. All sales are final and the sale cannot be canceled. When an event is postponed, there are often many tickets re-surfacing for other people who can no longer make the rescheduled dates.
Canceled Events:
Once an event is canceled, all payouts are placed on hold until the refund policy has been announced.
For a canceled event, or partially cancelled event, CashorTrade will follow the policy outlined by the primary ticketing company and the event. Physical tickets/wristbands and mobile tickets sent via CashorTrade to the buyer, the seller may need to request a refund of their original purchase on through the primary ticketing company, if the refund is not processed automatically. CashorTrade often allows the seller to receive their refund before pushing the refund out to the buyer.

In certain cases, the seller is required to return physical tickets/wristbands to the primary ticketing company to obtain the refund. In these cases, the buyer should promptly mail the hard tickets back to the seller.
Below explains the process after an event has been labeled as cancelled:

A notification is sent to all members involved in a sale alerting them to visit the message thread to work together in order to get things resolved efficiently.

A system message is pushed into every message thread alerting the members of the interaction of the event cancellation and often providing an option for seller's to 'Accept Refund' which will initiate the refund to be processed to the buyer.

When the seller accepts the refund through this button, the Fan Support Team will review and process the refund to the buyer as quickly as possible. In the event that the payout has already been processed, the 'Accept Refund' button authorizes CashorTrade to charge the seller's card to recover the payout and process the refund back to the buyer.

If the 'Accept Refund' button is not clicked by the seller, the refund will automatically process within 30 days of the event's refund policy announcement.

All refunds will be the full ticket cost, less shipping and platform fees.
Refunds
Many primary ticketing companies require 30 days after the event cancellation announcement for refunds to be processed. CashorTrade normally follows suite in order for the seller to receive their refund for their original purchase before processing the buyer's refund. Please allow this time frame for the seller to receive their refund from the primary ticketing company. Once they have received their refund from the primary, they should click the 'Accept Refund' button in the message thread, which will notify our Fan Support team that they authorize the refund to be processed to the buyer. If the button isn't clicked, the refund will automatically be processed after the 30 day window closes.
