To receive payouts for tickets sold on CashorTrade, you must have a verified PayPal account linked to your profile. PayPal is the only way we are able to pay sellers out for tickets sold on CashorTrade.
When creating a listing, you will be prompted to add a PayPal account if one isn’t already linked. You can manage this anytime by visiting:
Account Settings → Payments and Payouts → Payout Methods
Troubleshooting PayPal connect issues
Basic tips:
Try connecting from a desktop computer
Log into your PayPal account in a separate browser tab first, then return to CashorTrade and try connecting again
Confirm your PayPal account has:
A linked and confirmed bank account
A confirmed email address
No pending verification requests in the Resolution Center
Browser checks:
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
Try a different browser (Chrome or Safari work best)
Use a private/incognito window
Check that your internet connection is stable
Disable:
Pop-up blockers
Ad blockers
Browser privacy shields/extensions
VPNs, proxies, or firewall filtering (if applicable)
PayPal account settings:
Go to PayPal Settings → Security → Connected Apps / Permissions
Remove any existing CashorTrade permissions (if listed), then try reconnecting
Make sure you are logging into the correct PayPal account (especially if you have multiple PayPal accounts)
Confirm your PayPal country and currency settings match your account details
If the issue persists:
Try connecting again from a different device
Contact PayPal support to confirm there are no authorization or verification blocks on your account

You will need to create a PayPal account at paypal.com in order to be paid out for any tickets you sell on CashorTrade.
Buyers: Should I Link PayPal Too?
While not required to purchase tickets, having a PayPal account on file is strongly recommended. In rare cases (like a dropped sale, invalid tickets, or event cancellation), any refunds issued may be processed through PayPal. Having an account already linked can help speed up this process!
