To receive payouts for tickets sold on CashorTrade, you must have a verified PayPal account linked to your profile. PayPal is the only way we are able to pay sellers out for tickets sold on CashorTrade.
When creating a listing, you will be prompted to add a PayPal account if one isn’t already linked. You can manage this anytime under:
Account Settings → Payments and Payouts → Payout Methods
Common PayPal Linking Issues:
"Email already exists" error: This means the PayPal email address is already associated with another CashorTrade account.
Check for any secondary accounts you may have
Confirm that the PayPal account or email address is not associated with a friend or family member’s CoT account
"Something went wrong on our end" PayPal error: Typically caused by browser issues, a poor internet connection, or a temporary glitch on PayPal's servers
Clear your browser's cache and cookies
Try using a different browser or device
Check your internet connection
Disable any VPNs, firewalls, proxies, or browser extensions
You will need to create a PayPal account at paypal.com in order to be paid out for any tickets you sell on CashorTrade.
Buyers: Should I Link PayPal Too?
While not required to purchase tickets, having a PayPal account on file is strongly recommended. In rare cases (like a dropped sale, invalid tickets, or event cancellation), any refunds issued may be processed through PayPal. Having an account already linked can help speed up this process!
