If you see a $1 charge on your credit or debit card, don’t worry — this is a temporary preauthorization, not an actual charge.
What Is a Preauthorization?
A $1 preauthorization is used to verify that your card is valid and belongs to you. This amount is not actually charged to your account and will disappear within a few hours or days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
When does the $1 authorization happen?
When adding a card to your CashorTrade account
Each time you submit a request to purchase tickets (even if the request isn't accepted)
Before receiving a payout (to confirm the card on file is still valid)
Do I Need to Do Anything?
No action is needed. The $1 preauthorization will automatically drop off your statement within a few days.
