For digital tickets, transfers must be completed via the primary ticketing company’s app or website (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, Tixr, etc.)
How to Transfer Tickets
Once a seller accepts a buyer's request, the seller will automatically receive the buyer’s name and email address associated with their primary ticket account.
Log in to your primary ticketing company account (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, etc.)
Select the tickets you have sold on CashorTrade
Click the “Transfer” option
Enter the buyer’s name and email address exactly as provided
Confirm the transfer: The tickets will then be sent to the buyer
After tickets have been transferred, return to CashorTrade to mark the tickets as "Sent" to let the buyer know the tickets have been sent to them
Note: Some primary ticket companies, such as Ticketmaster, require the buyer to "accept" the transfer before the tickets will officially be available in their primary ticket account.
Troubleshooting
If the buyer has not received the transfer:
Double-check that the buyer's transfer information was entered correctly
Cancel the original transfer and try again
Confirm with the buyer that their transfer information is correct
Some primary ticket companies, like Ticketmaster, allow phone-number transfers. If phone number transfers are allowed, ask the buyer for their phone number to try using that for the transfer instead of their email address
Contact the primary ticket company for help with the transfer
Note: Some tickets may initially appear non-transferable. In many cases, and due to new state laws across the US, the transfer option will become available closer to the event date
Both sellers and buyers should communicate clearly to ensure the transfer is completed to complete the sale. CashorTrade only works when we work together!
