When listing Barcode Image or PDF tickets, follow the steps below to ensure a smooth delivery to your buyer.
Uploading the Ticket
When creating your listing, select "Barcode Image / PDF" as the ticket type
On the second step (after selecting ticket quantity), you'll be prompted to upload the ticket image or PDF file
NOTE: The PDF file will not be sent to the buyer until AFTER the buyer's request is accepted
Once your listing is live and a buyer submits a request, accept the request to complete the sale
The uploaded ticket will automatically be sent to the buyer after accepting their request. No need to manually mark the tickets as delivered.
Note: If the buyer is having trouble downloading the PDF file, you may upload the file directly to the message thread on CashorTrade and/or ask the buyer for their email address so you can email the PDF file to the buyer
Pro Tip: Forward the Original Ticket Email
If your ticket was delivered to you via email (from Etix, Tixr, etc.), it’s recommended to forward that email to the buyer as a backup.
Use the “Message User” option in your sale to ask for the buyer’s preferred email address
How the Buyer Accesses the Ticket
Via Web Browser: The buyer can download the ticket directly from the listing
Via Email: We recommend that sellers ask for their buyer's email address and forward the PDF file to the buyer so the buyer has multiple ways to access the ticket
Via Mobile App: Buyer can download the file by selecting the 'print as PDF' option, which will give the option to save the ticket to their mobile device (See images below)
Important: All Sales Are Final After Ticket Delivery
Once a barcode image or PDF has been shared, the sale cannot be canceled, even if the ticket hasn’t been used
If the buyer no longer needs the ticket, they may relist it for sale on CashorTrade to recoup their funds
