Looking for tickets? Let sellers know!
ISO (In Search Of) Posts are back!
While event alerts notify you when new tickets are listed, an ISO Post gives you another way to find the tickets you're looking for by letting sellers know exactly what you need.
Whether you're searching for a sold-out show, specific seats, or tickets with unique requirements, creating an ISO Post can help increase your chances of finding the right tickets.
The best part? You can use both an Event Alert and an ISO Post together. Set an alert so you're notified when matching tickets are listed, while also creating an ISO Post so sellers can proactively reach out to you.
What's the difference between an Alert and an ISO Post?
Event Alert
An Event Alert automatically notifies you when new listings matching your criteria are posted.
Choose this if you simply want to be notified as soon as tickets become available.
ISO (In Search Of) Post
An ISO Post allows you to publicly share what you're looking for by adding a description about your ticket search.
Examples include:
- Looking for 2 GA tickets for Friday only.
- Need ADA-accessible seating.
- Hoping to find seats near friends.
- Flexible on section but need 4 tickets together.
Sellers browsing the marketplace can view your ISO Post and reach out if they have tickets that match your request.
Using Alerts and ISO Posts Together
For the best chance of finding tickets, we recommend using both features together.
When you:
- Create an Event Alert, you'll be notified when qualifying tickets are listed.
- Create an ISO Post, sellers can discover your request and offer tickets directly to you.
Using both gives you the benefits of automatic notifications while also making your ticket search visible to potential sellers.
How to Create an ISO Post
Creating an ISO Post follows the same process as creating an Event Alert.
- Navigate to the event you're interested in.
- Select Set an Alert.
- Choose the ticket criteria you're looking for.
- Enable the option to Create an ISO Post.
- Add a description explaining what you're looking for.
- Save your request.
Your ISO Post will now be visible to sellers browsing that event.
Tips for Writing a Great ISO Post
The more helpful your description is, the easier it is for sellers to know whether they have tickets that fit your needs.
Consider including:
- Number of tickets needed
- Desired section or seating area
- Ticket type (GA, Reserved, VIP, etc.)
- Any accessibility needs
- Whether you're flexible on seating
Clear descriptions often receive better responses.
How Sellers Use ISO Posts
When browsing an event, sellers can view active ISO Posts from buyers looking for tickets.
If a seller has tickets that match your request, they have two options:
Share an Existing Listing
If they already have a public listing that matches what you're looking for, they can share it directly with you.
Create a Private Listing
If they don't have a matching listing yet, they can create a brand-new listing specifically for your request.
This creates a private listing that is sent directly to you, allowing you to review and purchase the tickets if they meet your needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have both an Alert and an ISO Post?
Yes! In fact, we recommend it.
An Alert helps you discover newly listed tickets automatically, while an ISO Post helps sellers discover you.
Can I edit or remove my ISO Post?
Yes. You can update or remove your ISO Post at any time from your Alerts section of your Ticket Wallet.
Does creating an ISO Post guarantee I'll receive tickets?
No. An ISO Post increases your visibility to sellers, but ticket availability will always depend on what other members are selling.
Are private listings only visible to me?
Yes. If a seller creates a private listing in response to your ISO Post, it is shared directly with you rather than being publicly available to other buyers.
